When I was 22, I was still spending my days in the art school, learning how to work in a darkroom and doing my first experiments.
It was in this period that I discovered the art of Francesca Woodman, and she had instantly a huge impact on me. I was shocked by the way she was able to show and expose herself, so direct and blurry at the same time. In a very poetic but raw way. At 22, I didn’t know who I was while she already finished her life, leaving us all the beauty of her work.
This serie of chemigrams are my humble tribute to her.
